An Intuitive Painting Day · London
Paint to
discover yourself
A one-day process painting workshop for anyone who wants to understand themselves a little better, make sense of feelings that are hard to put into words or simply reconnect with your own creative voice. You don't need to be good at art - only an open mind and a bit of curiosity.

The Invitation
Mindfulness and self-discovery
People have made art for as long as there have been people, long before we had words for what we felt. It's one of the oldest tools we have for reaching the things we can't otherwise explain. That's what this day is for.You don't need to be able to draw or paint a thing - you'll work with colours and shapes, painting whatever comes to you and following wherever it leads. For some people, the day brings release, for others a new insight or simply a quieter head; it's different every time.I'll be there throughout to help and guide you through your internal journey. You don't need to know where you're going. Not knowing is where the good stuff tends to come from.
In Their Words
What past painters took home
“Thank you for such a wonderful day - I loved it! You created such a safe and warm space where sitting with uncomfortable and difficult feelings felt ok in a way that I don’t often experience. It was a wholly collective experience that truly felt like a ‘community’ for the time that we were together and yet totally individual in that we were immersed in our own space. I feel so special to have been a part of it.”
Ninette
“Intuitive painting, with the focus being on the process not the outcome, is freeing and meditative. Not often does this shift of perspective become one’s approach to creating. I relished the opportunity to do so in a safe space, a community of minds exploring and reflecting together, guided by the expertise of Ditte. A real pleasure and a day blissfully spent!”
Millie
“Even now i get so much excitement seeing 12 pots of paint colours and a stack of paper ready for us to experiment with.
Having a whole day to paint with no brief at first felt very daunting but with Ditte’s guidance i just enjoyed letting myself chose the colours and let my brush guide me. It felt like such a treat to spend a whole day painting”
Caroline
“My day with Ditte was really special. To have a full, uninterrupted day to paint and explore what came up was such a gift.
I observed so many limiting mental patterns and Ditte was there to support me and gently & intuitively guide me towards a new path.
I really felt that I broke one pattern of giving up when I felt stuck and starting again.
With Ditte’s help, I pushed through the discomfort and on the other side were moments of beautiful flow and the painting seemed to unfold in front of me.
Something I have never experienced before.
It was such a deep & rewarding experience and I can’t wait to paint with Ditte again.
Who knows what’s on the other side next time.
Ditte is a gifted facilitator and her presence is very calming, nuturing & peaceful.
She held all of our hands through out the day and gently guided each one of us to new creative destinations.
She has a gift for this work and I feel lucky to have had the chance to paint with her.”

Your facilitator
Ditte Blohm
I'm a Danish artist working from my studio in London. I work with clay sculptures and paintings, and my work has been exhibited in the UK and internationally, and sold among others through Christie's and Sotheby's in London. The way I work is intuitive. I paint and sculpt from feeling, which is how I came to intuitive painting and began using it in my own work. Over time, I became fascinated by its more therapeutic sides. It's a way of reaching emotion, memory, and the parts of yourself that are usually hard to get to. For a lot of people, that turns out to be healing. So I trained to become a facilitator at the Art and Living Institute in California. My training has taken me from London to Costa Rica to New York and back again.Alongside my own studio work, I every now and then open up a handful of sessions when I can; one-to-one, online, and in small groups.
